Tree Watch – Lime by Name

As I remember no one used to like the lime flavoured opal fruits (in the days when opal fruits were opal fruits and not starburst or some such nonsense).  They were the ones you used to magnanimously donate to your little brother.  This freshly emerged cluster of leaves are truly lime in colour, more lime than a lime, and far more tasty than any opal fruit.

  1. When you are little, you like strawberry. But when you are older, you mature to lime. This is a lovely photo Gill.
