Trouper

P1010152 (1024x768)This little vinca flower has found a way through the leaves, twigs and other winter detritus; a little bedraggled but I think it was a tough journey.

I noticed a little white one struggling through the undergrowth yesterday…also somewhat bedraggled!
Planted 6 trees in the wild bit today….they just look like sticks at the moment…but, fingers crossed they’ll turn into a sumptuous orchard one of these…years!!!!

  3. There is a tiny purple reticulata iris blooming in my garden right now, surrounded by oak leaves and absolutely sodden with rain. It looks very lonely. I hope it will have some company soon.
