To my bestest mum from your bestest daughter, have a very happy birthday! It obviously can’t be a perfect day as I am not there but I am sure you will be brave and struggle through without me. As I couldn’t find any giraffes in the garden to photograph (hiding in the bamboo I’d warrant) here is a dusky pink daylily for your delectation. 🙂

It’s a good time of year for birthdays as my eldest daughter will be 15 on Friday (blimey! doesn’t time fly!) and my soon will be 11 a week tomorrow 🙂

Happy belated birthday Gill’s mum. It was my mum’s birthday today and (Stefan’s on Monday). It was the first time I’ve been with my mum on her birthday since I went to college!
